Dog Days of Summer at Fort Myers Brewing

Fort Myers Brewing Company is celebrating International Dog Day with its Dog Days of Summer event from noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26.

The event will feature craft brews, frozen drinks, food trucks, live music and fun for furry friends and their owners. No Manches and Wicked Streatery will be serving local favorites throughout the evening, and Hat Trick will perform at 7 p.m.

Celebrating International Dog Day and in recognition of the brewery’s 10th anniversary year, Fort Myers Brewing has released a limited-edition throwback T-shirt and glassware that pay tribute to the brewery’s first mascot, Scooch, the beloved late dog of founders Rob and Jen Whyte. On Aug. 26, a portion of sales on the limited-time merch will support the Gulf Coast Humane Society.
