The American Series was created during America’s 1976 Bi-Centennial. With this series, Salerno tried to capture a sense of what he and some of the American public were feeling at that time. These beautiful images are still relevant today depicting the struggle for the American Dream, personal journeys, determination, prosperity and justice.
