Back by popular demand is the Spring Book Sale Fundraiser, where one can find fiction for adults, a section for children and teens, and music CDs and movies on DVD. The semiannual fundraiser takes place on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18, from 9 am to 3 pm in the meeting room at the Cape Coral Library. The popular event is hosted by the Friends of the Cape Coral Library, and proceeds support the Cape Coral Public Library branch.
“Most items are $1 or $2, with small paperbacks at less than a buck! We will also highlight a large selection of “Special” books (such as those by Florida authors, autographed books, collectibles, and more) that are priced somewhat higher but are still an incredible bargain,” explains Monica Rahman, Publicity & Art Gallery Chair, Past President.
The thousands of quality used books, arranged by category by a crew of member volunteers, make it easier to find what you are looking for—from mysteries to science fiction to humor—you are sure to find something you must have.
Bring cash or a personal check to the event, as credit and debit cards are not accepted.
The book sale will be held in the meeting room at the Cape Coral Library, located at 921 SW 39th Terrace. A special Members-Only Preview Sale will be held on Thursday, April 16, from 10 to 3. Non-members may join the Friends of the Cape Coral Library non-profit organization at the door by paying the annual dues of only $20 per family.) The event takes place in the spring and fall.
