Whether you're backyard barbecuing, heading out for brunch, getting takeout, or you have other
plans in store, there’s no better way to top off the day than with a box of hand-crafted, artisanal
chocolates by Norman Love Confections.

“Our limited-edition Mother’s Day Collection was inspired by mothers and motherly figures near
and far,” says Norman Love, who has produced hand-crafted chocolates in Fort Myers since
2001. Love uses only the finest ingredients, innovative flavor combinations, and keen artistry for
his chocolate creations. It’s no wonder he’s earned national and international acclaim for his
masterpieces.

The Mother’s Day Collection features 10 delicious heart-shaped chocolates that are available in-
store and online. The flavors include Apple Pie, Caramel Turtle, German Chocolate, Sweet Tea,
Peanut Butter Pie, Island Rum Cake, Sangria, Vanilla Cupcake, Caramel Turtle, Waffles &
Syrup, and Lemon Bar. Larger box sizes and other treats, such as gourmet cookies, and chocolate pops are available.

Norman Love Confections are in five convenient locations in SW Florida, including several in
Fort Myers and one in Naples. For more information and the one nearest you, visit Norman Love

In addition to adding a tasty treat to this Mother’s Day, May 11, 2025, there are many ways to
make the most out of it in SW Florida. A day at one of the local beaches can be hard to beat this
time of year. Fort Myers Beach offers white sandy beaches, waterfront restaurants, and family-
friendly adventures, like jet-skiing. Lee County parks offer hiking opportunities, sports activities
like pickleball, wildlife viewing, picnic areas, and charcoal grills. The Edison and Ford Winter
Estates in Fort Myers are a great place to enjoy a garden stroll. The Estates offers 20-acres of
beautiful riverfront gardens and the historic homes and buildings of Thomas Edison and Henry
Ford. There’s also a landmark museum featuring many of Edison’s inventions. They offer self-
guided tours and immersive group tours. And moms who love animals and tropical settings
might enjoy a trip to Wonder Gardens in Bonita Springs, a jewel in historic Downtown where a
collection of rescued and non-releasable animals calls it their home, all nestled beneath the
banyan trees and tropical plants.

Remember to make Mother’s Day a memorable one!
