Cape Harbour Oyster Bar & Grill, 5785 Cape Harbour Drive, officially opened for business on Father's Day 2018. The restaurant offers lunch, dinner, dessert and coffee, as well as beer and spirits. Much of the menu centers around seafood, such as snow crab legs, a blackened snapper sandwich, crab cakes, and - you guessed it - oysters!

Hoping to provide the most down-to-earth and interesting dining experience in Cape Harbour, the Cape's newest spot comes from an ownership group who has owned and managed restaurants in Indiana.

"We’ve been lucky enough that our amazing guests have enjoyed our legendary service, delicious food and welcoming atmosphere enough that it has allowed us the opportunity to explore a second restaurant concept," the business' website says. "We are excited and humbled to offer our service and food to our amazing customers. Thank you for your support throughout our journey."

The establishment is dog friendly. Guests can bring their pups out on the patio to enjoy a night of dog treats given out by staff members. It has already been critically acclaimed on many review sites. On Facebook, it boasts a 5-star average on 29 reviews. It has received two reviews on Yelp, each 5 stars. On TripAdvisor, all four of its reviews are 5-star ratings.

"These guys are a triple threat," James C. said on TripAdvisor. "Their food is fantastic, the ambiance is spot on, and the service is on point. They also have a well picked beer selection. I had the hush puppies, fried green tomatoes, and snapper sandwich and I’ll be back for all three."

The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Additionally, a new beer garden is coming to Cape Coral, which will occupy the old Two Amigos space at 1339 Cape Coral Parkway E. The spot will be known as The Backyard Beer Garden, and as of July 3, it has not yet opened. Once they open up shop, they will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 11 a.m. until 1 a.m., and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

"Two partners Chris Ilardi and Gabe Ferraro are bringing their combined 50 years experience to Southwest Florida and delivering a unique concept for all ages," the business' website says. "A concept reminiscent of a simple backyard cookout with a modern unique menu offering."

Ferraro comes from the suburbs of Philadelphia in South Jersey, while Ilardi was raised in Bayside, Queens, N.Y.

The beer garden is set to feature about 20 craft beers on tap, as well as tall-boy cans.

As of this writing, the beer garden is hiring bartenders, servers, hosts, cooks, prep chefs, and dishwashers. Inquiries can be sent via the business' website.
