Bennett's Fresh Roast Celebrates 10 Years in February

Bennett's Fresh Roast in Fort Myers thanked its regular customers in a Facebook post for the wonderful year of business in 2017, shortly before the Christmas holiday. The shop turns 10 years old on Feb. 8.

"If there's anything we've learned over the past years, it's that we would be nowhere without all of the overwhelming and amazing love and support we've received from our customers," the post said.

Owned and operated by longtime Wink FM morning radio personality, C. David Bennett along with Frankie Albano and Anne and Roger Munro, Bennett’s roasts nearly 800 pounds of coffee a month, fries up 15,000 from-scratch hand-cut donuts monthly and serves breakfast and lunch to thousands of hungry guests.

"We’re humbled every time a customer walks in the door and we promise we’ll never take a single one of you for granted," the shop's website says. "As a wholly owned single family business, we believe that old fashioned good service, honesty, integrity and the desire to back up our products are the true hallmarks of our success."

Bennett's "world famous" donuts are made with zero trans fats, and the coffee is the freshest you can get.

"While other roasters and coffee shops serve coffee roasted as long as [four] months ago, we believe that our coffee’s bold and intense flavor is well worth the extra effort," the website continues. "Our special 'pre-infusion' brewing process allows us to extract the best and most intense flavors from some of the world’s best coffee beans without rancidity or that mildew taste you get in the stuff from the store."

Bennett & Birch were on the airwaves each weekday morning on Southwest Florida's Wink FM (96.9) for more than 14 years.

The shop is located at 2011 Bayside Parkway in Fort Myers. You can reach them at 239-332-0077. Visit them daily, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, visit bennettsfreshroast.com.
