Dunkin's Diamonds, located at 11500 S. Cleveland Ave., in Fort Myers, partners with several local charities throughout the year. On Dec. 9, the store will partner with Norman Silverman Diamonds to bring a prestigious trunk show showcasing their one of a kind pieces.

The show is in support of Heroes Unmasked to raise money to help their cause of bringing smiles to children's faces. Ten percent of all proceeds will be donated to the charity.

Dunkin’s Diamonds is a three generation tradition, which started in Europe and has since grown into several locations in Ohio and Florida. The company's basic foundation and guidelines for success have been formulated and perfected according to advertising director Mikey Connolly, and as a result, they are able to offer customers "the finest quality jewelry, excellent workmanship, personalized service and a guarantee of satisfaction."

"The relationships that we have developed over the years provide us with the best contacts throughout the world in the diamond and jewelry business," Connolly said. "Our goal is to create for you a better diamond and jewelry buying experience. We have worked very hard to make our stores a welcoming, non-intimidating environment where you can make a decision with comfort and confidence."

Customers can browse through thousands of pieces of designer jewelry in the stores' cases. Dunkin's buys diamonds direct from the world’s top resources and work with expert cutters. Each diamond, Connolly said, is hand selected by their buyers to ensure the highest level of quality.

The Fort Myers location has won first place in The News Press' annual competition for the best diamonds and jewelry, year after year.

Hurricane Irma recovery was fast for the shop. It was closed for three weeks due to damage.

"We really appreciated how understanding our clients were," Connolly said.

The store is back up and running and will head into the holiday season with extended hours starting in December. Normal hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. through 7 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 6 p.m.
