Pure Florida will ring in the New Year with celebratory cruises on Tuesday, December 31, sailing from both its Naples and Fort Myers locations. Guests cruising from Naples will have the opportunity to indulge in customized catering, a beautiful sunset and a fireworks show. Passengers in Fort Myers will enjoy watching the last sunset of 2019 with a complimentary drink. In Naples, passengers will board the M/V Double Sunshine which departs at 6:00 p.m. from the historic Tin City docks, located at 1200 Fifth Ave. S. The cruise will feature a delicious dinner selected at the time of reservation, refreshments, music and entertaining narration from Pure Florida’s captain, followed by the fireworks show from the Naples Pier. Tickets for the Naples cruise are available for $115 per person plus taxes which includes one complimentary drink ticket. The cruise is approximately 3 hours in length. In Fort Myers, guests will board the M/V Edison Explorer which departs at 4:30 p.m. from The Marina at Edison Ford, located at 2360 W. First St. The cruise will be along the Caloosahatchee River at sunset and Pure Florida’s Coast Guard certified captain, also a master naturalist, will deliver a historical and ecological narration of local waterways and the environment. Tickets for the Fort Myers cruise are available for $35 per adult and $17.50 for children plus taxes. Upon returning to dock at The Marina at Edison Ford, guests can conclude their experience by exploring the local shops and restaurants of the historic Fort Myers River District or enjoying the community’s Downtown Countdown New Year’s Eve Celebration.
