Change, Love and Loss: Three Wisdom Traditions Master Class with Kathryn Templeton

Friday, September 21 to Sunday, September 23

Friday, September 21 ($40)

Join us for this master class based on the “Three Wisdom Traditions” training with Kathryn Temple-ton.The idea of the “Three Wisdom Traditions” is to weave together practices of yoga, Ayurveda and psychology for a therapeutic effect to reduce stress, build resiliency, enhance adaptability, and im-prove regulation and steadiness. In this Master Class we acknowledge that life brings change, love, and loss. Grief is part of the emotional currency that allows us to experience the fullness of life. When we try to bypass this feeling, life’s road gets bumpy. In this class we will break down the psychological impact of grief and use our work with pranayama and asana to nourish the heart, lungs, and mind. This class will offer three practices to support navigating grief and traveling the road of life with greater ease and steadiness. This Master Class is the start of the “Three Wisdom Traditions” In Person Learning Lab we are offer-ing. You are not required to be enrolled in the training to take the Master Class, but if you're interested please see event titled "Three Wisdom Traditions".

September 23, 9:00am to 5:00pm ($349)

Yoga therapeutics, Ayurvedic medicine, and traditional clinical psychotherapy are three powerful healing traditions which can restore balance in life. Imagine applying all three synergistically to sup-port the challenges in your life, or in the lives of clients and students! Designed for yoga teachers, yoga therapists, and Ayurvedic Yoga Specialists, this program will also support social workers, psychotherapists, nurses, and allied health professionals who are looking to supplement their work with clinical applications of yogic and Ayurvedic practices. Includes a one hour lunch break. As a yoga teacher, Ayurvedic practitioner, and clinical psychotherapist Kathryn Templeton has developed the Three Wisdom Traditions (3WT) program with two goals in mind: To support caregivers and healing professionals of all traditions to create a balanced lifestyle, develop practices for their own self-care, and decrease burnout and secondary traumatization. To offer practitioners of each Wisdom Tradition tools to provide wraparound support for clients and patients, to continue their healing work outside of the session.
