Lee County School District Superintendant Receives Contract Extension and Pay Raise

Dr. Gregory Adkins, the School District of Lee County superintendent, received a three-year contract extension at the beginning of June, which includes a 13-percent raise. This boosts his salary from $185,000 to $209,000 a year.

Adkins was appointed to the role in 2015 and enters his 30th year serving the school district, this year. He has held various administrative roles in addition to teaching roles.
