Three Estero High School Athletes Honored at Annual Awards Event

Estero High School senior Alina Faunce was announced Lee County Girls Swimmer of the Year at the 2017 Southwest Florida Sports Awards. Faunce was also crowned with the Academic Achievement Award. She will compete at the collegiate level at Alabama

Two other Estero High School athletes won awards: boys golf's Luke Farmer and boys cross country's Arye Beck. As a sophomore, Farmer averaged 71.5 strokes per 18 holes. He won third place at the Class 2A tournament, this year. Beck is a senior and will run cross country for Stetson University next year.

Girls golf's Kim Egozi and boys golf's Jonah Manning were finalists for their respective sports.
